What is Assisted Living?
In Kentucky, assisted living communities provide each client with a separate living unit that includes a lockable door and private bathroom.
Each person also can receive assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring) as well as assistance with self-administration of medication.
Meals, housekeeping, transportation, laundry, and clerical services also are available.
